Shipping Policy
We currently offer two methods of delivery.
- Courier –These are door-to-door services. Deliveries are made during office hours from Monday to Friday. In main centres, this is usually within 1 – 3 business days of dispatch. In regional and outlying areas, it may take a few days longer
- Collection – You can also collect your parcel during office hours from our collection point free of charge. The address of the collection point will be provided to you after confirmation of order. We are based in Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
Please note if you in the Durban or Pietermariztburg (or surrounding) areas, you may arrange for a personal viewing.
You are welcome to arrange your own courier as well.
- Prices on this site are excluding postage/courier. Shipping charges depends on the size of the item as well as area which could range from R60 upwards.
- Al Hijaab Collection despatches parcels within 1-14 working days of receiving confirmation of payment (unless otherwise communicated).
- Goods will only be dispatched once full payment has been received and reflects in our bank account. Clearing of payment via banks could take between 1-5days.

Al Hijaab Collection will not be responsible for any packages once it leaves our premises.
- Items that are not in stock will only be shipped once we have received all products from our suppliers.
- Al Hijaab Collection delivers parcels using multiple delivery/courier partners.
Delivery usually takes between 2-10 working days depending on the delivery service provider. Delivery takes place Monday to Friday during 8am-5pm. If your parcel has not arrived within the specified time frame, do not hesitate to contact us.

Kindly ensure that someone trustworthy is at the shipping address to accept the parcel. Couriers are a “door to door” delivery service and not a “hand to hand” service. They will therefore leave the parcel with anyone that is at the shipping address eg. receptionist, colleague, family member , helper etc
